Designed around the client's everyday needs, Rajalakshmi’s home brings together simplicity, functionality and carefully chosen materials. The project focused on making the most of the budget without compromising on the overall look or durability of the interiors. From material selection to storage planning, every decision was made to ensure the home remained practical, comfortable and easy to maintain.

The kitchen storage units were customised to a height that suited the client, rather than following standard measurements. In the living room, a beautiful wallpaper replaced a conventional TV unit with panelling, creating a feature wall that was both visually striking and easier to maintain. An open pooja unit was designed to accommodate the client's wish to keep a lamp lit throughout the day, while the third room was planned as a multifunctional space, complete with a dedicated bookshelf to meet a specific requirement.

The tile selection played an important role in bringing the home together. By combining plain and patterned tiles in a considered layout, we created visual interest and a sense of continuity that gives the interiors a more elevated feel. The result is a home that demonstrates how thoughtful planning, personalised details and budget-conscious material choices can create a space that feels refined without being complicated.
