VAANAVIL A highly curated soft furnishings project driven by colour, pattern, and maximalist detailing.
For this bespoke home in Vathalur, Chittoor, Narah worked extensively with colour, pattern, and fabrics to create a highly curated soft furnishings scheme. Taking a maximalist approach, we introduced the classic paisley motif across the home, including onto the balcony blinds. Embroidered curtains and customised handmade patchwork cushions were created for the daughter's bedroom, complementing the rustic character of the existing furniture.
The living room was approached differently, pairing its contemporary character with contrasting traditional Indian prints. Rather than redesigning the entire interior, the project used textiles and soft furnishings as the primary design tools to introduce warmth, personality, pattern, and a stronger visual identity.
